Upside Learning has recently launched its new podcast series: L&D Go Beyond. The podcast, hosted by Amit, Garg, Founder and CEO of Upside Learning, features L&D leaders and experts from across the globe who share their insights and experiences on various topics pertaining to workplace learning.
The first episode of the L&D Go Beyond podcast has Amit Garg hosting Dhiren Doshi, Learning Partner, E2E Global Supply Chain at Colgate-Palmolive. Amit speaks with Dhiren to know about his journey and experiences in the supply chain training domain.
A true believer in leveraging capability in the most effective way, Dhiren has been with Colgate-Palmolive for over 3 decades and has worked in different roles and been on both sides of the HR table. He brings some very interesting perspectives to the conversation from the point of view of learning engagement – what exactly is it and how to achieve the same.
Dhiren also speaks highly about the ‘The Five Moments of Need’ framework by Bob Mosher and Conrad Gottfredson. This framework is about people getting information and knowledge at the moment of need rather than pouring all the training content you have into their heads, only to leave them scratching them when they most need it.
For Dhiren, to bring the right technology at the right time for the right solution, and at an optimal cost is critical, and in this podcast he speaks about that and much more that ‘makes him tick’.
