‘Multi-device’, seems to be the buzzword of the times, and sets the stage for developments and refinements in eLearning too. With operating system updates, and new devices and models being introduced at a sky-rocketing rate, developing and delivering eLearning courseware that works seamlessly without any content loss and consistency of information across all devices has become the need of the hour.
About a year back, we launched our innovative Framework for Responsive eLearning Development (FRED) that helps develop responsive learning, and performance support interventions on multiple devices. Here’s the post we wrote on that. FRED was launched after having been in the making for over 12 months, imbibed with our learning from numerous HTML5 and responsive eLearning programs done over the years. Later last year, we also launched testing lab service for multi-device eLearning, followed by a responsive LMS, UpsideLMS.
In the course of our development process we encountered and overcame a lot of challenges pertaining to designing, testing and delivering multi-device eLearning. Our new eBook, titled “Tips for Designing, Testing and Delivering eLearning in a Multi-device World“, is a blend of all our learning experiences. We have shared some tips and insights into various aspects to be considered while designing, testing and delivering multi-device eLearning.
