Brandon Hall Group surveyed 206 companies of all sizes, representing approximately 30 different industries around the globe for this report. The report finds that 77% of companies leverage at least some outsourcing for content development. We feel it will be a useful read for most organisations and a chance to learn about how the domain is shaping up.
For ages cost savings has moulded most eLearning outsourcing decisions. The study however finds that cost is just one aspect when it comes to eLearning outsourcing now. For most organisation it is strategic activity and hence other factors like ‘expertise in the ever changing tools & technologies landscape’, ‘faster times to market’, ‘scalability of teams’ etc. have become equally important.
